Priya is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania MD/PhD program who is currently a General Surgery resident. Her work focuses on developing insulin producing pancreatic beta-like cells. Priya is currently supported by the American College of Surgeons Resident Research award and the University of Michigan Center for Organogenesis training grant. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, taking photographs, and finding unique additions for her whiskey collection.
