  • M.S. — Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, University of Michigan, 2024

My background involves bacterial diagnostics and avian research at the PDRC at the University of Georgia, and studying DNA damage in the Simmons Lab as part of my master's program at the University of Michigan, but I am excited to put my knowledge of molecular/microbiology techniques to good use as I shift focus. I am currently assisting Dr. Kate Walton with her research on the effects of hedgehog signaling in intestinal development. I look forward to learning more about working with organoids, in vivo models, and some more complex data sets.

Fun facts: When I'm not having fun with my partner Virginia and our two dogs, trying new local restaurants, or watching college football, I love to play basketball as well as competitive Magic the Gathering. I'm also a big fan of comedy and most things in nerd culture like Marvel and anime.
